Brockville, originally known as Elizabethtown, is a city in the Thousand Islands area of Eastern Ontario, Canada. Brockville is known as the “City of the 1000 Islands,” which is situated on the Saint Lawrence River’s north coast, almost midway between Kingston and Cornwall. It’s 115 kilometers south of Ottawa, Canada’s capital. On the south bank of the river, Brockville borders New york.
Several significant industrial enterprises call Brockville its home. 3M manufactures tape and Occupational Health and Safety items at three facilities in Brockville. Procter & Gamble employs 600 employees in the manufacturing of dryer sheets and cleaning products under the trademarks Bounce and Swiffer, respectively. However, activities began to slow down in 2017 until the facility closed in 2020, with all operations being shifted to facilities in West Virginia. In January 2022, the Canadian food business Leclerc, which specializes in desserts, stated that it will take over the vacated P&G plant.
But Despite this, the city does manage to attract quite a number of people each year thanks to its beautiful scenery and low cost of living. Few businesses are being opened to cater to the growing population, and Vancouver Photo Lab is a big player in providing printing services. We also offer high-quality canvas prints and many physical products, which can be a good souvenir if you wish to visit this city.
